Who should go to Jimbaran?
The tranquillity of Jimbaran is a big draw for romantic couples, honeymooners and families on holiday in Bali.
When should you go to Jimbaran?
For the weather
The temperatures in Jimbaran are consistently high year round, ranging from 26 – 28 C (79 – 82 F) on average. The rainy season (which lasts from October to March) can get wet in this area, however, especially during December, January and February. Visit between May and September for the least rainfall and the bluest skies.
To beat the crowds
Although Jimbaran is generally quieter than other popular resort areas in south Bali, the area can get pretty busy with families in July and August. For fewer people and cheaper accommodation, time your trip for May, June, or September.

Off the beaten path…
Go cliff jumping at Pantai Tegal Wangi
Bali’s secluded beaches are often the most beautiful and one of these private paradises just happens to be in Jimbaran.
Tegal Wangi is a hidden beach nestled at the foot of towering limestone cliffs on the coast of Jimbaran. This little known and rarely visited stretch of coastline is a little tricky to find and once you locate the path you’ll have to navigate a winding, steep trail down to the sand. Once you reach the beach, however, be happy you persevered with the journey.
This quiet, tranquil spot is the perfect place to sunbathe, read, meditate, or simply take in the scenery. If you’re feeling brave, you can skip the slippery path altogether and cliff jump into the sparkling waters below.
