Great for large groups

Please pardon the upcoming lengthy review; we'd like to share as much as possible to do Ministry of Villas and the villa justice. Ministry of Villas From the get-go, you know you're in good hands. Quick response time, attention to detail, clear and comforting instructions and answers, no pressure at all to close any deal, consistently high standard of customer care and never-before experienced customer-centric philosophy where the business is out of pocket to save for the client. We could really go on about why we would use MoV again but the review would become a tome. Special mention nevertheless to Diana, Ari and especially Munir (for outrageous high standard of after-sales care) Absolutely no doubt that we'll head to MoV again if looking for villas. Villa Beyond Pros: 1. Perfect for large groups - we had 16 adults and 5 kids 2. Fantastic villa staff - villa manager Jum Jum speaks good English and arranged everything requested. Any issues we had, we'd raise to Jum Jum and her team would respond quickly to address. 3. Well-kept compound and very clean and cheerful rooms and common areas 4. Within minutes by car of grocery and eating options 5. Good meals - breakfast was provided and generous, if a little lacking in terms of spread (we understood that this could be addressed by topping up a certain amount per guest, which we declined). We also had dinner twice in the villa and the cost was reasonable, even with the pre-advertised 20% convenience fee. We selected from a wide list of Thai dishes but were advised to keep to 7 dishes in view of the manpower required to prepare a meal for 16 adults. Servings were generous and food quality was good; the staff will prepare the food at an entry-level spiciness. Areas for consideration 1. The villa is located on top of a hill with a steep slope connecting it to the village below - none of our daytrip drivers would drive up this slope and we were encouraged to utilise the villa vehicles for shuttle purposes. We weren't clearly told that this was to be at a cost to us for each shuttle and while it was wonderfully arranged, including a 3-trip shuttle from the nearby Tesco back to the villa late one stormy night, we could have made the hike down on days with good weather. The walk up is not advisable if pregnant or for the elderly. 2. A couple of the rooms on Level 1 had musky smells - there was also a drainage smell which we informed Jum Jum about. Air fresheners were brought in as a stop-gap measure. 3. The rooftop room access is uncovered so an umbrella is required on stormy nights - to the villa's credit, umbrellas are provided at the main entrance for use. 4. Wifi is okay on Level 2, where the pool and main areas are. It doesn't work well on Level 3 or 4 where the bulk of the rooms are. 5. The view from the living room leading to the pool is gorgeous, especially when the sliding doors are opened; for us, with toddlers in tow, it wasn't ideal to have those sliding doors opened without supervision. 6. Rooms had tons of hangers available and this was excellent thinking. However, there were limited options to hang clothes for drying or airing. The villa might have options but we did not ask Jum Jum, instead, we resorted to hanging clothes off the railings and guardrails. Foldaway drying racks would have been great. Overall, yes, finally here, we could revisit Villa Beyond. At this price-point, plus our requirement for lots of rooms and space, the villa is a good option.

Simply Amazing Accommodation with First Class Service

Being a frequent traveller to Phuket but traditionally staying on the east coast in areas such as Karon and Kata we decided this year to try something different and stay on the west coast. There is no doubt that there is more restaurants and bars in Karon and Kata, but if you want value for money when it comes to accommodation then look no further then Villa Beyond. This luxury villa is located at the top of a hill with breathtaking views of the ocean from all 3 levels of the property. It is fully equipped with everything you need including table tennis, deep swimming pool, air conditioning, state of the are sound system, outside pool dining area with tasteful and decorative fittings and fixtures. What makes the villa even more impressive is the first class service provided by Oi (villa manager) and her team including Jum Jum, Lek, Polla, Yaya and Dawan. Even before we arrived Oi was happy to answer our questions, arrange scooters, make restaurant bookings and make sure we had everything on arrival. You cannot fault the attention to details of the staff and their dedication to making you feel comfortable. A tip - do yourself a favour and dine at the villa and have Polla and the team cook you a mixture of seafood and local dishes for dinner. We cannot thank Oi and her team for the first class service they provided and we cannot wait to come back to see you all again soon. Now although there is no restaurants, bars or convenient shops within walking distance, the staff are on hand to get you anything you need so it doesn't matter that there is nothing in walking distance. There is also some beautiful ocean front restaurants located approx 5 mins from the villa, my top two must dine at restaurants include Blue Siam Beach Club and Palm Seaside. I cannot rate this property highly enough and encourage you to give it a go if your looking for a holiday away from all the hustle and bustle at your front door, but close enough to engage in it if you want. Thanks Oi and Jum Jum - you are both very beautiful people.

Amazing

I was simply stunned when I arrived at villa beyond it’s so quiet and tranquil I get totally lost in the atmosphere. everything was to a high standard. the staff were extremely nice and all services and help made available to me ie; transport , food , activities and general information , the villa is located around 20 minutes from the main town I would 100% stay again.. I couldn’t fault it if I tried :)

Ultra-luxe villas, great service = happy return customers

Returning second year in a row, I booked villa Beyond and villa Namaste for a 5-day private event for a group of 13 couples. Service: friendly, accommodating and prompt. Khun Lek is very helpful and actually remembered me from my previous visits. Furnishing: Great surround sound system with central control for entire villa and each individual rooms. Quality coffee machine that make great coffee. Interior of the villa is tastefully furnished. Ambience: Versatile space with classy ambient mood lighting and deep bass sound system if you want a party pad, yet you have hear the serenity of the birds chirping and sun setting down the Andaman sea sitting by the infinity pool if you choose otherwise. Convenience: 5-minutes by car to Surin Beach, with Macdonald and Tesco just down the road.

Exactly what you get on the tin, and more.

Mostly perfect services. 14 of us checked in. Transport service was great. Villa itself was in good condition. Although most staffs don't speaker english, but they made up for it by providing excellent selfmotivated services, and very hard working. The manager Ms Oi, who understand english well, was always around to help in all matters; very helpful in communicating with local Thai people for us both in and away from the villa by phone or text. She always provide useful local information with good common sense. Chef and his team made excellent bbq feast for us 1st night. A little disappointed with the thai meal they made 2nd night. Breakfasts were fine. The only down side of the villa that the luxuriousness of the rooms varied greatly; will be unfair for a group of 14 even we did swap. Lastly, improvement can be made in table food servicing, because staffs were too harding, over efficient; liked to clear plates and glasses before guest truely finished.

Never dreamed we could stay anywhere so nice

15 of us stayed here for my wife's 30th birthday (they put an extra bed in the spa room). The experience was beyond all expectations. The place is huge, incredibly stylish and kitted out with every mod-con. We felt like we were on mtv cribs! All bedrooms were large and the music system connected to every room as desired. Huge comfortable beds and high end bathrooms throughout the property. Kuhn Oi and her team were very accommodating. Always there when you needed but unobtrusive. The kitchen, lounge and swimming pool area were all open plan allowing the party to easily socialise whilst enjoying there own comforts. Trip to the beach and a night out were easily arranged. Vegetarian food was accommodated easily with a set dinner and BBQ lunch. We took our own alcohol and found the food cost to be fair and reasonable. My wife and all her friends had the time of their lives!

Highly recommend, everything is perfect

We stayed here for three days and the only regret is we didn't stay longer. I believe the photo of the villa already show you how good is this property, and their service are on the same standard. This villa is located on the hill, which provides you great view and the quietness. But don't worry about the convenience, the manager Ms. Oi and her team will arrange everything for you in this villa. In villa meals, massage are all in reasonable price. Also the staff will give you best offer for any day-tour you intended to join. It was an incredible experience and we can't wait to come back!

Location

From Phuket International Airport the villa is only a 25 minutes' ride on the highway. Bang Tao is a study in contrasts, with the luxurious resorts and villas along its six km (four mile) stretch of beach just a few minutes away from the town of Cherng Talay, where many villagers still make their living as their ancestors did - by fishing, farming and rubber tapping. The northern tip of the beach, so far untouched by development, is still an area where visitors might find that they have the beach to themselves. With easy access to Surin Beach and the bustling area of Patong and Kamala. Bang Tao is known as being well situated for any form of excursions and diversions.

* For weddings and private parties an Event Fee of USD 1,500 is applied and a refundable Security Deposit of USD 3,000 is required. A maximum of 60 guests.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation will take effect from the day the written confirmation is received (email acceptable).
The following cancellation charges will be applicable depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing and the period of stay in the Villa.
All cancellations made by the Lessee are subject to penalties below:
A) If the Lessee cancels the reservation 45 days or more prior to arrival date, all payments are forfeited but credited for 9 month from the date of the cancellation confirmation by the Lessor. The credit value can be used by the Lessee or anyone on his or her behalf for any reservation, during any period upon availability and solely for the villa initially reserved.
B) If the Lessee cancels the reservation within 45 days prior to arrival date,all rental payments are forfeited. A full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that the Lessor secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial cancelled reservation
C) Christmas and New Year Period, for any cancellation after the deposit and/or balance payment, all payments are forfeited. However, a full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that the Lessor secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial and cancelled reservation.

The above cancellation charges also apply if the Lessor cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance.

Payment Terms

At the time of booking a 50% deposit is required.
The balance must be paid at least 45 days before arrival.
For bookings made within 45 days of arrival the full payment is required at time of booking.

A refundable security deposit USD 1,500 (or equivalent in other major currency) is due in cash on arrival

Description

Luxury and sleek elegance

Villa Beyond is a luxury accommodation located on a hilltop just above the Bang Tao Beach on the west coast of Phuket, which offers a breathtaking rolling hills view, the valley, the bay, and the Andaman Sea. The commanding structure atop the hill is only 25 minutes away from Phuket International Airport, and just a few minutes away from the Cherng Talay town where most of the villagers are still engaged in fishing, rubber tapping and farming. Villa Beyond is the perfect getaway for those bored with ocean views marked by blue sky during the day and black sky at nighttime.

One of the unique features of Villa Beyond is the state-of-the-art Sonos audio network and music entertainment system throughout the entire villa, with media players in every room. The living area and all four bedrooms offer high definition movies with the Sonos server stored with over 10,000 songs and 1,000 movies. Every day can be a high-quality movie screening time in the villa.

The luxurious villa can accommodate up to 14 adult guests in seven well-appointed en-suite bedrooms, with extra spacious bathrooms and walk-in closets, and electronic safes. Five of the seven bedrooms have spectacular sea views. All bedrooms are installed with 42 inch LCD TV and the living room has 55 inch LCD TV. The seventh bedroom doubles as events room.

Villa Beyond is accessed via a private road steeply going uphill where a 2-car garage is located at the end of the road, a stairway leading to the main floor, and a fantastic waterfall wall which is the overflow from the swimming pool on the upper level.

The luxurious Villa Beyond features a free-flowing living and kitchen area found at the upper end of the stairway, offering panoramic views, and the open-plan kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and luxury counter tops. An adjoining prep kitchen is also provided. On the same floor, is the spacious open plan living area, and a dining room that can accommodate up to 12 guests. Adjacent to the dining area is a covered balcony with outdoor dining table.

The open plan living area features a grand room and an amazing 180 degree view of Bang Tao. A comfortable seating area facing the infinity-edge swimming pool provides a fantastic ocean view. Another seating area is provided facing the 55" LCD HDTV with international channels and HD movies.

The living room has a stairway that leads to the upper floor where the master bedroom and the three other bedrooms are located. The master bedroom and bedroom 2 and 3 have fantastic ocean views through individual private balconies.

Another stairway leads up to the uppermost level - a 200 square meter rooftop party area equally divided into a patio and garden. Guests will find this area relaxing and the perfect place to soak up the sun. A complete bathroom and outdoor shower are provided.
