Villa Manis is about a ten-minute stroll from the surfing beach of Pererenan in the fishing village of Canggu. Guests can take a stroll along the shore, watch the local fisherman bring in the catch of the day, or wander to the village temple on the foreshore to observe the colourful daily ceremonies. The residence is conveniently located from the famous sea temple of Tanah Lot, the Nirwana Bali Golf Course, Seminyak, with its dazzling array of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, and Bali’s fascinating cultural centre of Ubud.

Cancellation Policy
If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the manager. All cancellation notices received by the manager will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the Guest and all members of the Guest's party purchase trip cancellation insurance.
Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to:
* Cancellation of one or more days of a booking.
* An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking.
* Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification).
* Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest's chosen Property.
In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.
The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and the manager will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.
Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for peak/high seasons and will be stated in the Property description, booking confirmation or reservation voucher. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.
Payment Terms
Payment:
When the Guest makes a booking request, the Guest must make the appropriate deposit payment to the manager within 5 working days of availability confirmation. The following deposit payment must be received by the manager.
For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of the booking request - a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable.
For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of the booking request - the total rental amount is payable as a deposit.
If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, the manager reserves the right to void the Guest's booking request.
Where a 50% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 50% balance not less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.
All payments must be made in US Dollars, unless otherwise agreed with the manager, and must be made in accordance with the manager's payment instructions as set out in the Guest's booking confirmation.
If payments are not made on or before the due dates as required herein, the Owner or the Owner's Representative may cancel the booking, in which case this Rental Contract will be thereby terminated without any further notice required. Cancellation charges may apply as detailed below.
Security Deposit:
A security deposit may be payable directly to the Owner or Owner's Representative immediately upon arrival at the Property. However the Owner has the right to impose different requirements on a case by case basis. Access to the Property may be refused if security deposit is not paid in full. When the security deposit is required to be paid in cash, or when a non-standard security deposit applies, the manager will inform the Guest in advance of the amount payable and any other conditions.
The security deposit will normally be refunded at the end of the rental period, after deducting: all additional expenses incurred on the Guest's behalf (e.g. additional charges for goods, services and staff which have not been directly paid by the Guest, and telephone and internet charges, if applicable) and the cost of replacement or repair for any loss or damage to the Property or its surrounds or contents caused during the Rental Period. If this cost cannot be reasonably determined prior to the Guest's departure, the Owner or the Owner's Representative is entitled to withhold a reasonable estimate from the Guest's security deposit, and will return any balance to the Guest as soon as possible after the actual cost has been determined.
Sprawling 8 bedroom Villa with glorious views
The sprawling 8 bedroom Villa Manis is a fully staffed destination villa, with a private in-house chef, and amenities such as the private sauna, and two swimming pools. With glorious views across the rice fields to the Indian Ocean, it is just a few minutes’ walk from the famous black sand surfing beach of Pererenan, and a short drive from the fishing village of Canggu. The villa is a dream wedding venue that can cater to groups of up to 16. Consisting of four separate buildings, it is tastefully decorated with choice artefacts from across the Indonesian archipelago.
All eight bedrooms at Villa Manis are equipped with TVs, air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms and are furnished with either king beds or twins that can be converted to kings. The master bedroom takes up the entire first floor of the main pavilion and features a massive sleeping chamber with ocean views from its bed. Guest bedrooms 1 to 3 open onto the courtyard, or garden and pool. Bedrooms 4 and 5 occupy one floor in a two-story pavilion while bedrooms six and seven are located upstairs in a pavilion at the far end of the villa grounds with views of the rice fields or garden.
The main pavilion at Villa Manis presents a very spacious lounge, dining room and entrance hall with sliding glass doors leading out to the garden and overlooking the neighboring rice fields. In the dining space is a long table with seating for 12 and a bar area. The center of the room boasts comfortable sofas, chairs and coffee tables. A media room with cozy couches and a large 60-inch TV adjoins the far end of the living space. The terrace just beyond the living area has a dining table for 12 sheltered by a retractable awning to keep the tropical sun at bay. The villa has its own spa and a cool, white-themed, open-sided pool lounge with a white stone jacuzzi.
