Ridiculously amazing!

I couldn't get over Villa Umah Daun when we arrived - it is so much more amazing than the pictures show. Added to the peaceful, stylish, exotic and fabulous vibe of the house is the awesome layout, attention to detail, various rooms and space that make for a five-star stay. The staff also need to be mentioned, Made, Wayan, Kottok, Putu, Ayu and the team look after you so well you will never want to leave. They are professional, unobtrusive, kind, caring and fautless. We loved getting to know the and the thoughtfulness of them all really added to our trip - we miss them!

Out of this world amazing

Everything about this place is next level. Our jaws dropped when we walked in and took two days of pinching ourselves to realise this was reality, incredible staff, food, and the Villa itself is ridiculous it's so massive. We are missing the friendly staff, Wayan's amazing cocktails and Ketut's food. But mostly your smiles. Thank you guys, you were amazing, I hope we can come again and see you all next year.

Unforgetable

We went on a family holiday for 9 nights decided on a villa instead of a resort. Umah Duan was everything we hoped for.A large villa with plenty of rooms and facilities to keep the kids occupied while we relaxed.We had 3 family's with 7 kids under 12. Parents and kids had a great time such a relaxing villa to put your feet up while the kids have plenty to entertain themselves. The highlight of the villa is the staff. Made and his staff make it such an unforgettable experience. The food is great, Wayan's cocktails are awesome and the staff are always there to help. Close enough to go to other attractions and tour bali. They will organise everything. Must give a special mention to Wayan. What a special person always had a smile and do anything for you. Thank you all at Umah Duan you made our holiday one we will never forget and hope to return again. A note: If you have the need for a nanny ask Made for Kormang Ari we had a 2 year old daughter Kormang helped us with during our stay. Kormang is exceptional and you can trust her with your child like its her own. She is a lovely person we will always remember.

Bali Paradise Found!

We stayed at the spectacular Umah Daun villa in March for six days with our family. Absolutely unbelievable experience! The property is stunning, just perfect and very picturesque, with a rice paddy in the near distance and beautiful landscaping around the villa. The decor and design of the home is breathtaking, featuring a turquoise colour scheme and art from local Balinese artists. There are so many beautiful rooms it's hard to get to all of them! The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable but also spacious and luxurious. Rain shower fixtures and deep bath tubs were a treat. The pool is divine. Gorgeous outdoor space for lunch, hanging out with drinks, and even the pool floats made our time their special--bean bags! Our 5 year old daughter had a blast enjoying the pool as well as the grounds so I say "great fun for kids!" Lots of room to play! Saving the best for last, the STAFF is impeccable! Made, our main host, ran the show for our unforgettable stay, including daily needs, car service and tour arrangements. Ketut the excellent cook, Wayan the master mixologist and sweet Ayu were amazing. They totally took care of our family. Overnight security was also super nice and helpful. If we needed something it was attended to immediately and it was so seamless we didn't have any interruption in our awesome experience there. We did not have to leave as every need was met--delectable food, tasty drinks, accommodating staff and just a wonderful relaxing time for all. If you do want to venture out, the beach is not a far drive, as were major tourist locations such as Monkey Forrest and Elephant Cave. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful place. When the doors open up upon your arrival, you will have seen Bali paradise.

Lovely large villa - good for groups/families

Nice modern villa with a large living space, rooms and a decent size garden. The layout is smart and whilst you are all together, you don't feel on top of each other. There's a kids playroom, a media room and a games room with pool table which are all great if it rains and you get stuck! The staff were lovely, spoke good english and were very helpful. My only point would be that there were no black out curtains in my room (I'm not sure about the others), so if you're the same as I am and sleep lightly, do pack your eye mask!

Did not let us down!

If you want a luxury holiday where all your needs are met then this is the place. Umah- Daun is an exceptional property with so much space it was difficult to use! The house is well looked after and truly felt like a home rather than a rental. There are so many rooms to choose to spend your time you will be spoilt for choice. The staff at Umah-Daun are also what makes this property special. All very professional and well- trained. The staff manager Made was available and helpful whenever we needed him, thank you. The girls, Ani and Ayu were warm, willing and friendly which made our mornings perfect. Kutuk the chef cooked every meal perfectly and we can safely say that he does the best burger in town! Finally Wayan who went out of his way for us. He was fantastic with the kids going so far as putting them to bed at night, making incredible origami creatures and kites and making desserts with them. Thank you Wayan. The only negative I can add is the 20% surcharge that is added to food shopping which does start to make everything rather expensive. I'm not sure if this was an Elite Havens policy or a policy that the villa has in place but be sure to read the contract so there are no surprises. Aside from that a wonderful stay and we hope to visit again. Thank you

Stunning!

Fantastic property. Spacious, bright, breezy, gorgeous decor, large bedrooms, great bathrooms. From the moment you step into the property you feel relaxed. Beautiful garden and pool area, overlooking a rice field, bringing traditional Bali to your door. The staff are fantastic. Always on hand if you need anything, but blending into the background to ensure privacy. Every meal was delicious and the cocktails perfect. Well designed pool area, with ample comfortable sun loungers and a large jacuzzi. Option to dine poolside in a covered dining area, or inside at the one-of-a-kind dining table. Lots of places around the property to relax, whether you want to sit in the sun or in the shade. A billiard room, media room and library in addition to the living room and dining areas for those who prefer to relax indoors. Would highly recommend a visit - the only downside is you won't want to leave:)

Umah Daun enjoys an idyllic location at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet Balinese residential area just north of the village of Umalas. Overlooking a vast expanse of working rice fields, the residence is ideal for those who seek the tranquil bliss of tropical Bali and at the same time be at close distance to some of the island’s scenic treasures. Seminyak, with its array of chic shops and restaurants, clubs and bars, is just a five-kilometer drive away. The surfing hot-spot Berawa Beach is also at a convenient distance from the villa.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the manager. All cancellation notices received by the manager will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the Guest and all members of the Guest's party purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to:
* Cancellation of one or more days of a booking.
* An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking.
* Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification).
* Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest's chosen Property.

In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.

The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and the manager will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.

Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for peak/high seasons and will be stated in the Property description, booking confirmation or reservation voucher. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.

Payment Terms

Payment:
When the Guest makes a booking request, the Guest must make the appropriate deposit payment to EH within 5 working days of availability confirmation. If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, EH reserves the right to void the Guest’s booking request. The following deposit payment applicable to most villas (see individual villa terms for full details) must be received by EH:
For villas in Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka:
For rentals beginning more than 75 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 20% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 75 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 20% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 80% balance not less than 75 days before the scheduled arrival date.
For all other countries:
For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 50% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 50% balance not less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.

Description

One-of-a-kind luxury estate

Umah Daun is a five-bedroom home consisting of interlinking pavilions arranged in an arc around the large swimming pool, kids pool, jacuzzi and beautiful gardens. The spacious indoor living areas seem to blend with the tropical outdoors, across to the shallow pond. With a playroom, wading pool, and treehouse for the kids, and media room, games room, 15-metre swimming pool and a climate-controlled wine room for adults, the villa presents an alluring appeal for families. There is also an abundance of social space and quiet corners from bedroom balconies to a rooftop terrace to a poolside bale for less formal meals.

The palatial master suite spans across the entire top floor and opens on to a large deck that overlooks the rice terraces beyond. It has two walk-in wardrobes and a huge bathroom with multi-jet monsoon shower, and bathtub. Guest bedroom one, on the ground floor on the master bedroom pavilion, a private deck bordering the rice fields, a dressing area and a spacious marble bathroom. Two other guest bedrooms, in a separate pavilion, give couples an extra degree of privacy and easy access to the garden and pool. Two more inter-connected bedrooms situated upstairs in the main pavilion provide accommodation for kids, each with twin beds and a single daybed.

The wide choice of living areas at Villa Umah Daun include two furnished sitting areas furnished in the heart of Umah Daun's living pavilion. The dining room is decorated by a teak wood table over five metres in length with seating for 14 guests. Beyond, there is a large sit-up bar and professionally equipped kitchen. Opening onto the dining room is the air-conditioned media room with 60-inch TV, DVD player and Sonos Playbar sound system. The second storey houses a library with leather armchair. There is also a separate playroom for kids. Outdoors, the garden houses a sparkling pool with surrounding day beds.
