Woolamai Beach House is located in Thalpe (also known as Talpe), a secluded and stunning stretch of coastline in southern Sri Lanka. Thalpe is home to a handful of lovely beachside restaurants, offering some of the best dining and most beautiful beaches in the region. It is only fifteen minutes from the UNESCO world heritage listed Galle Fort and a two hour drive from Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport.

Tropical 4 bedroom villa right at the beach
The house is designed in a simple but beautiful style with concrete floors, white walls and louvered doors opening to tropical sunsets, ocean breezes and blindingly beautiful Indian Ocean views. An infinity edged pool, shaded by coconut palms, stretches the length of the house and is overlooked by a stunning open living area - the perfect aspect for sunset cocktails while spotting sea turtles in the rolling Indian Ocean surf.
HOUSE DETAILS
The house is set over two levels and comprises three king sized bedrooms and a double bunk bedroom sleeping four (all with own bathroom), an open living area, TV lounge, outdoor deck areas, indoor and outdoor dining areas, pool and gardens. The ground floor is set around an open living area with a beautiful outlook over the pool, ocean and gardens. An adjacent king bedroom enjoys the same outlook and has a rear ensuite opening to an outdoor courtyard with bath, while a double bunk bedroom (sleeping four and perfect for kids) is located to the rear of the living area and has its own ensuite with outdoor shower. The first floor offers some of the most beautiful views to be found in all of Sri Lanka: a king bedroom with rear ensuite opens to a small private deck, while the master suite opens to an enormous private deck, both rooms engulfed by paranoramic Indian Ocean views. To the rear of the bedrooms is a light filled TV lounge. The bedrooms of the house are airconditioned, with living areas well ventilated by fans and the sea breeze. The house has Wi Fi throughout, cable TV and cooking facilities and is well equipped for families - stocked with kids toys, games, beach gear and pool toys. Cots, high chairs and other gear for babies and toddlers can be arranged upon request.
SERVICE
The house is fully serviced with a cook, server and housekeeper standing by to arrange anything and everything required for an unforgettable stay. Vitalising breakfasts are served daily while other meals can be ordered from our menu of simple, delicious dishes inspired by region’s abundant seafood and tropical produce
