Fabulous Villa for 3 families .... we were so well looked after!

We travelled to Bali with 3 families (6 Adults & 7 Children). Villa Maridadi was Perfect from the minute we arrived. Yola was there to welcome us and show us around - she had even organised a massage for each of us on arrival!! Gusti was brilliant! He was at the Villa every day preparing our meals, cocktails, organising our program and menu for the next day, as well as answering any questions that we had. The pool and garden was perfect! The sound of the ocean just over the front fence was pretty special too. Villa Maridadi was beautifully clean and the grounds were kept spotless. The teenagers all enjoyed playing pool in the upstairs games room, and those that needed to watch the AFL Grand Final. There were many different areas to relax and unwind from our busy lives... we certainly didn't feel as if we were on top of each other. Made (who drive the villa car) was very patient with us all. He took us here there and everywhere, battling the chaotic Bali traffic with out a hint of stress. After these outings, it was so lovely to get back to the tranquillity of the Villa. I would definitely recommend Villa Maridadi to anyone wanting a getaway in Bali. Perfect for groups like ours or for family celebrations.

Heaven on Earth

This is the most beautiful place, away from the hustle and bustle. From the moment you enter you realise you are in a very special place - so beautifully appointed and well kept. An extremely relaxing place to be The grounds are gorgeous, the villas are superb with lovely outdoor batthrooms, and the staff are just wonderful. So attentive to your every need! Gusti as the main chef cooked magnificent food, catering for the diverse needs of our group. It would be very hard to find better accommodation anywhere. It really is that good.

An amazing place for a large group

we stayed at Villa Maridadi for one week with our extended family. this was perfect for us as the accommodation was in separate huts, there were many areas that we could use, the pool was large and the food was excellent. I would certainly recommend it for large families. it is isolated, which suited us, but may not suit all groups, and some may say it is a bit tired, but that was fine for us.

Fantastic Holiday

Villa Maridadi was perfect for a family holiday of 8-10 people who were attending a wedding at a nearby villa. The Balinese style architecture of the villa was framed by the open living area, lush spacious garden with a large pool. It provided for a peaceful and relaxing environment away from the frantic pace of Seminyak. The Lumbug ( treehouse ) provided the ideal setting for daily massages which can be organised with little notice. - well recommended. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable with a large ensuite outdoor bathroom. The beds were turned down nightly and mosquito nets pulled down. The recreational area with a pool table and TV was well used. The Manager Yola and all the staff ( the two Putus, Argus, Corma, Mardi, gardeners and security staff) were helpful, friendly, attentive and very accommodating to our requests.. Nothing was ever trouble to organise. Gusti our incredible and marvellous Chef suggested and prepared Western and Indonesian cuisine ( even vegetation food ). One of the highlights of our stay was the Indonesian feast for the last dinner at the villa. The marinades for BBQ food was very tasty. The Babi Guling was delicious. The outdoor dining area was nicely decorated with candles an palm fronds. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at this wonderful location being pampered by the amazing staff. We would definitely like to return and highly recommend this villa.

Wonderful place to stay!

This resort is truly paradise with staff that fall over themselves to make the stay as wonderful as it can possibly be. From the arrival through to departure, there is little of any relevance to fault. The property is stunning with views over the water and is exactly as it looks on the website. Elite Havens did a wonderful job in preparation for our arrival. We have five individual groups all arriving and departing at different times to one another and it was all handled with aplomb. Airport pickups were excellent and friendly as well. Highly encourage people to take advantage of the VIP service at the airport which made the entry into Bali a dream - no queues at immigration or customs. Be aware that the location of this villa is in a very quiet area with very little to do other than stay at the Villa. Having a car at the ready is critical and the car service from the Villa was excellent. It is about 30 minutes from Seminyak on a good drive and possibly up to 45/50 mins on a busy day. In short, if you want somewhere to relax and do nothing, this is the place for you :).

Magical Villa Maridadi

Stayed in the villa for 6 blissful nights The staff are amazing , Gusti the chef can cater for any taste from anywhere around the world , the food is delicious The staff are so attentive and kind and keep the rooms perfectly clean and welcoming The main Bale is open to the sound of the sea and has the view of the local temple on the shore There is a Lumbung at the end of the garden which gives a birds eye view of the beautiful surroundings and great for toasting the amazing sunsets The garden is kept immaculately by the friendly gardeners The special things about Maridadi are the arty touches in choice of soft furnishings ,artifacts ,statues and how the building blends into nature A very beautiful place for families or a group of friends

Beautiful Maridadi

The villa, view, and staff was so amazing and beautiful we didn't want to leave. Our family of 9 including a 3 year old stayed 5 nights for our sister's 50th birthday. The expansive grounds and rooms were always kept pristine by the staff. They made sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable from the chef, to the attendants, to the grounds staff, to the driver and security. Chef Gusti created delicious dishes from Western to Asian fare. He ran the villa very efficiently including bringing in massage therapists as requested. Looking forward to a return visit.

Magnificent villa with stunning outlook

This is a beautiful property that caters well for large groups. We were three families and we all had ample space. The aspect of the proerty over looking the sea is stunning and you get a beautiful breeze. The property is in excellent condition. We were well looked after by all of the staff. The food was amazing and they catered to our needs. The staff are so helpful and friendly. You cannot swim in the beach in front of the property and it is quite dirty in parts but that is true for most beaches in Bali. I would recommend this property.

Unforgettable!!

A beautiful place, in a lush, luxurious environment. We were spoiled by our hosts and the delightful staff. It's away from the hustle of the Bali roads, yet close enough to get out and see the locals getting on with their lives. If you want to feel special, and leave relaxed with wonderful memories of Bali, this is the place to go!

Location

Villa Maridadi is nestled between rice fields and the Indian Ocean, in the traditional village of Cemagi on Bali's south-west coast. The black sandy shores and rocky outcrops are also home to the small sea temple of Pura Gede Luhur Batungaus. Despite its rural setting, the villa is only 30 minutes drive from the many restaurants and shops of cosmopolitan Seminyak. World famous Echo Beach is also within easy reach (10 minutes by car), where guests can enjoy the laidback surfer vibe, an ice-cold beer and some incredible sunsets.

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the manager. All cancellation notices received by the manager will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the Guest and all members of the Guest's party purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to:
* Cancellation of one or more days of a booking.
* An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking.
* Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification).
* Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest's chosen Property.

In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.

The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and the manager will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.

Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for peak/high seasons and will be stated in the Property description, booking confirmation or reservation voucher. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.

Payment Terms

When the Guest makes a booking request, the Guest must make the appropriate deposit payment to EH within 5 working days of availability confirmation. If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, EH reserves the right to void the Guest’s booking request. The following deposit payment applicable to most villas (see individual villa terms for full details) must be received by EH:
For villas in Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka:
For rentals beginning more than 75 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 20% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 75 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 20% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 80% balance not less than 75 days before the scheduled arrival date.
For all other countries:
For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 50% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 50% balance not less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.

The word maridadi means beautiful in Swahili, the residence more than lives up to its name.

Villa Maridadi is spread across 4,100 square metres of pure luxury. Thoughtfully designed for relaxation and comfort, this spacious and welcoming home mixes traditional architecture and artefacts with easy modern living. Five large air-conditioned bedrooms with luxurious garden bathrooms provide guests with total peace and privacy. The bedrooms, each with ocean views, are located in four separate pavilions throughout the villa compound where intriguing artefacts and sculptures evoke a spiritual and tranquil ambiance. The residence also has a broad, open-sided living and dining area that overlooks the pool.

Outdoors, Villa Maridadi boasts a 20-metre green-stone pool with a timber deck sports six black sun loungers shaded by red umbrellas and is just the place to soak up the tropical rays, while two loungers on the lawn offer shady repose.
