Great Villa - Hidden Gem!

We spent 5 fantastic nights at Villa Mandalay for our Wedding week. From the moment we entered the grounds everyone was in utter awe of the villa. 13 of us over 7 bedrooms, and everyone loved every minute of it. We cannot speak more highly of Suka & the team that took care of us, they knew when to get involved and when to disappear for some chilling time, they were always found hanging at the front of the villa ready to assist. The food was excellent, ground immaculate and the pool was the most utilized during our stay we spent many moments cooling off. Our wedding felt like one out of a magazine, beautiful locations and we could not fault one thing on the day. The team at Villa catered and served at our wedding, it was absolute brilliant. The location is a bit out of the way, but with use of the car makes for easy transport. Thank you Villa Mandalay for the most amazing unforgettable experience and for being part of our special memories.

Great Villa with Reliable staff

Spent 3 nights for my wedding with family. Spacious villa with rice fields view. Rooms, pool & garden are exquisite. Everyone (family & guests) were so satisfied about the place. Villa Manager and team are also very friendly yet reliable. Thanks for the unforgettable experience!

Gorgeous villa - great for groups

We've just come home after a fantastic 5 night stay at Villa Mandalay. I cannot speak more highly of the team that took care of us. The food was excellent, the grounds immaculate and our drivers really went the extra mile! Such a lovely place to stay with friends

Outstanding spot with a great team

An incredible six days with the team at Villa Mandalay. 12 of us over six bedrooms, and everyone loved every minute. Great setting, amazing pool, sauna downstairs, much more spacious than it looks and all of the bedrooms of an excellent quality. But highlight would be the team looking after us - super friendly and knew when to get involved and when to disappear! Thanks to you all for your friendly service and support.

Excellent service with a smile

I was looking for a place to bring my entire family (including my Dad who is turning 80 this year as well as my young children) could feel relaxed and have fun. The villa fulfilled and went beyond all our expectations. The staff were so friendly and ever willing to help us. The ambiance was relaxed yet modern and the view of the rice fields were amazing!! I would definitely recommend a stay at this Villa

Perfect but with flaws that can be overlooked

We stayed for 4nights, 6 families ranging from 1.5yo to 70yo. [Pros] 1) The set up of the property. From the lounge to the pool to the pavilion overseeing paddyfield, you are able to see where everyone is. Extremely helpful when you need to check on the youngs and the elderly. 2) 25m pool is definitely the signature of the villa 3) the team headed by suka, harry, chef and many others. The service is immaculate, we felt very much at home. 4) great food whipped up by chef and team [Cons] 1) water pressure and temp control of villa is terrible but bearable 2) wifi is super unstable 3) bathroom doors falling off 4) sofa at lounge areas is pretty dirty 5) not the entirely resort's fault but lotsa flies 6) quality of toiletries can be better Like the title of the review, although it has its little flaws, it definitely something we can overlook and enjoy ourselves to the fullest. I will definitely go back again and recommend anyone who is not so anal about the flaws i mentioned.

Amazing and unforgettable experience

we arrived at Villa Mandalay to a welcome committee of the staff, headed up by Suka, what an amazing bunch of people, who looked after us (16 people from around the world) so well, thank you to Dewi, Harry, Gaday Eddie, Mr Chef and all the staff the food was amazing, fantastic Indonesian cuisine. We had our wedding at Villa Mandalay and it was the most beautiful location we could not fault one thing, the day was perfect. with amazing food and it was great to have all the staff looking after us and being part of our special day. The villa itself is fantastically well looked after, the gardens and pool are immaculate, the bedrooms are beautiful and very spacious. We have had the most amazing unforgettable experience in a beautiful setting with wonderful people, and we can not wait to return. We will definitely go back Thank you Villa Mandalay

Surreal...but incredible !

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mandalay where I celebrated my 30th with my best friends around the world. Rooms are massive, pool is incredible, food is excellent and in large quantity (special mention to the chef who has great skills), service is equivalent to 5 stars hotel and view on the rice fields and sea is purely magical ! Overall, I truly recommend this place a thousand times !

a jewel within palm trees and rice paddies, ocean view. perfect service!

what a jewel in the middle of palm trees and rice paddies. great ocean view and a charming architecture ("modern balinese") with selected art pieces from the south asia pacific. suka and his crew of 10 are doing great job, alit is a fantastic chef not only for balinese specialities but also internatioal kitchen. we loved the sunsets in the babmboo bale at the 25 meter pool after having played a round on the pitch&put little golf course - the longest distance to the flag is 72 meters and it's fun. journeys to the seminiak and legian restaurants and bars were under half an hour and the miracolous tanah lot temple and the nirwana golf club are only 10 minutes away. a paradise within bali! we'll be back soon.

Overlooking lush panoramic views, villa Mandalay is set near the luxuriant rice paddies stretching to the Indian Ocean, in Tabanan, on Bali's scenic south-west coast. A small warung (local cafe) and a scattering of local houses are situated in the immediate vicinity. A few minutes’ walk will take you to the black sands of Seseh beach. The famed Tanah Lot Temple, the Nirwana Bali Golf Course, and the Pan Pacific Nirwana Resort, with a number of good restaurants, are all at an easy distance. Cosmopolitan Seminyak with its array of restaurants, bars and boutiques can be assessed from the villa.

Rates Exclude

* Up to 2 extra beds available on request charged at US$50++ per night for adults, and US$35++ per night for children. The price includes breakfast.
* A car and driver is available for 8 hour use at a special rate of USD 25++/day (excluding petrol).

Cancellation Policy

If the Guest wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of cancellation must be sent to the manager. All cancellation notices received by the manager will be acknowledged in writing. It is strongly recommended that the Guest and all members of the Guest's party purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Cancellation of a booking includes but is not limited to:
* Cancellation of one or more days of a booking.
* An amendment of a booking so that none of the dates of the booking once amended fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking.
* Failure of all Guests to provide the required documentation on arrival (eg. Passports or suitable identification).
* Attempt by the Guest, their party or visitors to hold an event at the Property in breach of these Terms and Conditions or breach of any rules applicable to the Guest's chosen Property.

In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.

The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and moneys paid, and the manager will refund any remaining balance to the Guest.

Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for peak/high seasons and will be stated in the Property description, booking confirmation or reservation voucher. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.

Payment Terms

Payment:
When the Guest makes a booking request, the Guest must make the appropriate deposit payment to EH within 5 working days of availability confirmation. If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, EH reserves the right to void the Guest’s booking request. The following deposit payment applicable to most villas (see individual villa terms for full details) must be received by EH:
For villas in Indonesia, Thailand and Sri Lanka:
For rentals beginning more than 75 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 20% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 75 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 20% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 80% balance not less than 75 days before the scheduled arrival date.
For all other countries:
For rentals beginning more than 60 days after the date of the booking request – a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount is payable For rentals beginning 60 days or less after the date of the booking request – the total rental amount is payable as a deposit
Where a 50% deposit applies to the booking, the Guest must pay the remaining 50% balance not less than 60 days before the scheduled arrival date.

Description

A lavish and exotic hideaway

The luxurious Villa Mandalay offers the option of renting four to seven bedrooms, making it ideal for families and small groups. The beautifully landscaped lawns, dotted with lush tropical gardens, friendly professional staff, a 25-metre swimming pool, charming 'pitch and putt' golf course, sauna, extensive suggestion menu, and complimentary car and driver, come together to provide the perfect environs and backdrop for a memorable holiday.

All the bedrooms of villa Mandalay are air-conditioned, with ceiling fans, king-size beds, flat-screen TV’s with DVD players, walk-through dressing rooms and stately ensuite bathrooms with customised amenities. The two master bedrooms overlook the garden and the timber deck encircled by hedges beyond. The large bathrooms include separate his-and-hers vanities and oversize terrazzo bathtubs. The four guest bedrooms are arranged around the swimming pool, opening directly onto timber decking. Additional glass doors lead to fringing gardens at the back. The studio bedroom has an enchanting timber deck which is furnished with sun loungers.

The fan-cooled living and dining area of villa Mandalay has soaring ceilings and wooden floors. The dining area is fitted with a dining table to seat 12. Large alcoves on either side have built-in sofas and coffee tables. There is also a bar area at the back equipped with an iPod dock and surround-sound system. On one side is a kitchen equipped with all modern appliances. Steps lead down from the living room to the 25-metre swimming pool surrounded by timber deck with panoramic views stretching to the sea. The lower level houses a full-sized Finnish-style sauna with lovely garden outlook, and a separate shower room.
